Looking for participants for a province-wide palliative care quality improvement project!

We are looking for patient partners to participate in a new project looking to answer the following questions:

– What does good palliative care look like to patients and families?
– How can we measure good palliative care for patients and families in BC?

Participation involves completing at least 3 online surveys and 1-2 online focus groups. A small financial gift is provided.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Collaborate on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Willing & comfortable to share health care experiences in a group setting
  • Specific health care experiences [details below]
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings
  • An interest in improving health care services
  • The time to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • • people currently living with a life-limiting illness AND/OR • people with experience as a family caregiver to someone with a life-limiting illness AND/OR • people with previous experience of a life-limiting illness
Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
