Health Quality BC is supporting 20 patient partners to attend Quality Forum 2025, which is taking place March 11–13, 2025 in Vancouver, BC. The Quality Forum is an annual event hosted by the Health Quality BC that attracts more than 1,250 participants working across the continuum of care from communities across BC. By attending Quality Forum 2025, patient partners will not only have an opportunity to seek out new ideas and build capability related to improving quality, but also share their own knowledge, perspectives and experiences with other participants through networking and interactive breakout sessions.

Health Quality BC will provide complimentary registration to attend Quality Forum events, as well as provide travel and accommodation for selected patient partners. However, HQBC staff will not be available to help with any ongoing health care supports for attendees, so please let us know if you require a support person so that you can participate fully at Quality Forum.

In your application, please explain why you are interested in attending Quality Forum 2025 as well as any related experiences and/or education in quality improvement.

Where those of us in the room may have debated policy or wording, patient voices made sure patients were top of mind. And as a result, significant improvements were made to simplify something that was otherwise complex. Patient voices at the table bring us back to reality in terms of what we are trying to achieve.
