The advisory group will meet every two months across the development and pilot stages of a Northern registered nurse re-entry program for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) in a partnership between the University of Northern British Columbia and Northern Health. The purpose of the group is to oversee project activities and ensure that the program is built in a high-quality, sustainable, and equitable way by limiting bias and being grounded by a set of diverse perspectives.

Level of Engagement

This opportunity is at the level of Consult on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.

Eligibility

  • Willing & comfortable to share health care experiences in a group setting
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Have access to technology and the internet to participate in the engagement opportunity
  • Comfortable using technology to attend online/virtual meetings

Patient Partners ARE NOT required to be PVN members to participate in this engagement opportunity.
