The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) would like to speak with a young person who waited months before receiving community mental health counselling services.

We would like to invite you or your family members to participate in an interview to share your health care experience. Insights from this interview will appear in an article/story on CIHI’s website and may be included in a media release. You will get a chance to review any quotes attributed to you or your family member.

If you are interested, we will book a 30 to 45 minute phone interview in early April 2021.

Read details here.

If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Corinne Ton That at ctonthat@cihi.ca.
You will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire to help us in the selection process. Participation is voluntary.

Seeking the patient perspective doesn’t have to be complicated; it simply entails a commitment to ask and listen. Patient advisors not only bring a valuable perspective but also share original ideas and unique skills. Including the patient and family perspective changes the conversation and aligns the team’s focus towards common goals.
