The Vancouver Community Mental Health & Substance Use program is undertaking a review of community psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) services in Vancouver. As part of this review, we would like to better understand the opinions of those who access psychosocial rehab programs, specifically through clubhouses and drop-ins as well as those who have a need for psychosocial rehab programs in their own wellness and recovery.

This is part of our current state review of psychosocial rehabilitation services in Vancouver Community. Patient input will have a direct impact on future psychosocial rehab (PSR) contract review. For more info on PSR, visit: https://www.psyrehab.ca/pages/what-is-psr

The project team would like to hear from mental health and substance use clients accessing PSR programs as well as those who are not currently accessing PSR programs. They have created a survey to gather the feedback.

Please contact ce@vch.ca if you have any questions. Thank you!

Seeking the patient perspective doesn’t have to be complicated; it simply entails a commitment to ask and listen. Patient advisors not only bring a valuable perspective but also share original ideas and unique skills. Including the patient and family perspective changes the conversation and aligns the team’s focus towards common goals.
