Vancouver Coastal Health is launching a virtual care prenatal service called SmartMom, where women who sign on to texting services will receive free evidence-based messaging about what to expect and do based on how far along they are in their pregnancy. The Regional Prevention team prepared a draft poster to provide information about the texting program to expectant mothers and parents, and would like your opinion about it!

If you are expecting or have had a baby, or supported someone during pregnancy we would like your help to review the poster and ensure it is user-friendly, and appeals to the intended audience. Please click here to review the draft poster. We utilize a survey tool that poses questions to guide your feedback and you will be able to view the poster within the tool.

The planned go-live date for this service is February of next year.

Please contact ce@vch.ca if you have any questions. Thank you!

I have learned so much about innovation and capacity building by being part of PVN. I signed up to build my leadership skills, however, I experience benefits for myself, my community and Indigenous peoples throughout the province. I understand more about the complexities and opportunities required to improve health care.
