The College of Dietitians of BC (CDBC) is operating a hybrid office where most, if not all, Committee meetings are conducted virtually. When there is travel, all expenses are reimbursed.

The CDBC’s mandate is to protect the BC public by regulating dietitians to practice ethically, safety and competently. The College is committed to cultural safety and inclusive practices both as an organization and as an outcome for the public.

The CDBC encourages expression of interest from people who identify as First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, members of marginalized communities including persons of colors, with disabilities, and those who identify as 2SLGBTQ+.

The bottom line is because we’re caring for patients. People who know best are those who are receiving the care so it makes logical sense that we would consult with them about their experiences. By connecting with PVN we have been able to educate our teams about the value of patient partners and how important their perspective is in our services.
