Open to Patient Partners across Canada

The Canadian Foundation For Healthcare Improvement is supporting a patient scholarship for 10 patient partners to attend the upcoming i4 Quality Summit 2020 (October 6 & 7).

The most forward-thinking health + care event in Canada, i4 2020 has carefully chosen mavericks, disrupters and influencers from all over the world to lead experiential workshops and fascinating conversations as they mix and mingle with patients, communities and providers to find creative answers to our nagging questions.

Patient partners who reside in Canada can apply. All applications will be reviewed using an equity and diversity lens. We are looking for a mix of new and experienced patient partners for this opportunity. While we aim to select a mix of new and experienced patient partners, preference will be given to new patient partners, those across the country from various areas of the population who may not traditionally be represented in engagement, and those who are not employed in healthcare.

The application closes on August 17, 2020 at 5:00 am PST.

Please note that as this conference is being held virtually, internet access will be required to participate.

PVN has really helped us engage with patient partners to improve health services at Northern Health.  It is more and more becoming the norm to include patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services.  PVN education and supports, involving patient partners, have enabled us to develop the capacity to include the patient voice to make care better and achieve better health outcomes.
