Add your voice to help improve primary care in your neighborhood! Find out more about joining a PCN Steering Committee in Vancouver. There are 6 PCNs being developed in Vancouver.

Each PCN has a Steering Committee, made up of Family Physicians, a member of the VDoFP Board, as well as a Vancouver Coastal Health Operations Director. The committees will be advising the VDoFP and VCH on the implementation of the PCN Service Plans and are seeking to add the patient voice to the table.

Where those of us in the room may have debated policy or wording, patient voices made sure patients were top of mind. And as a result, significant improvements were made to simplify something that was otherwise complex. Patient voices at the table bring us back to reality in terms of what we are trying to achieve.
