Are you interested in promoting kidney health across BC? BC Renal and Kidney Foundation of Canada –  BC & Yukon Branch are seeking volunteers to raise awareness of kidney health among the general public in a number of ways. If you would like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you – RSVP today!

Requirements
• Any adults in BC with strong interest in working together with health care and community partners to raise awareness about kidney disease and/or living well with chronic conditions
• Experience working and sharing perspectives with diverse groups of people

We are hoping to recruit diverse voices and welcome patient partners of various ages, genders, life experiences, and cultural backgrounds from across the province.

The bottom line is because we’re caring for patients. People who know best are those who are receiving the care so it makes logical sense that we would consult with them about their experiences. By connecting with PVN we have been able to educate our teams about the value of patient partners and how important their perspective is in our services.
