The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) Ethics Service invites you to review the draft Ethical Practice Guide, by survey or email response. This guide will serve as the foundational document for ethical practice across PHSA and replace current ethical decision-making frameworks.

The approach presented in the document reflects our commitment to practicing ethics in ways that support cultural safety and humility. Following the release of this document, the Ethics Service will provide education to support application of the guide.

They invite you to provide feedback on the information presented in each section of the document. They also invite you to comment on what kind of education would be helpful in supporting application of this guide.

Please enter your feedback anonymously via this survey by MARCH 18th.

If you would like a member of the Ethics Service team to follow-up with you regarding this document, please reach out to this email: Ethics@phsa.ca or Alexandra.olmosperez@phsa.ca

Where those of us in the room may have debated policy or wording, patient voices made sure patients were top of mind. And as a result, significant improvements were made to simplify something that was otherwise complex. Patient voices at the table bring us back to reality in terms of what we are trying to achieve.
