The MD Undergraduate Program Admissions Office invites you to apply to participate in the following admission interviews for the MD Undergraduate Program. Your participation in these events is welcomed to help select the next class of medical students at UBC.

All interviews and training sessions will be completely virtual to ensure the safety of all participants.
• Invited applicants meet 10 different interviewers in a video-chat environment.
• The MMI dates are February 5, 6, 12, 13 and 19.
• A virtual interviewer training session will take place on February 2 or 9. Attendance is mandatory, even if you have been an interviewer before.

How to apply
• When completing the application, please indicate your interest in participating for the MMI, the Northern and Rural Panel Interviews, or both.
• Please note that you cannot be an interviewer or a panelist if you, a family member, personal friend, or close acquaintance is applying for medical school this year or in the near future.
• Applications will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and are due Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST.

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
