The project will support Family Physicians and General Pediatricians in the community by empowering them to more confidently navigate the care for children and youth with eating disorders.

This will be achieved through the design and implementation of a Complex Care Clinical Pathway, housed on “Pathway BC” (a platform that contains various clinician-oriented tools and resources), designed to function as a clinical decision making tool with embedded, locally-tailored resources, links, tools and referral information.

• First meeting: November 25, 2022 (3-4pm)
• Project timeline: September 2022-2024

Seeking the patient perspective doesn’t have to be complicated; it simply entails a commitment to ask and listen. Patient advisors not only bring a valuable perspective but also share original ideas and unique skills. Including the patient and family perspective changes the conversation and aligns the team’s focus towards common goals.
