This year Digital Health Week – the annual celebration and recognition of how digital health is transforming the delivery of care across Canada – is from November 29th to December 5th! Last year the Digital Health Week conversation generated 3,300 #ThinkDigitalHealth tweets that received 14.8 million impressions online.

We hope you can join us in this year’s celebration, further engaging with Canadians in activities that support digital health initiatives and keep the incredible momentum going. We’re also making it easy for you to celebrate Digital Health Week with pre-drafted copy for your social platforms. You can find great graphics HERE.

The question I like to ask health care employees is ‘Who is this for?’ and ‘Do we have the right people at the table?’ As a health care employee, I see how easy it is to fall into doing for, rather than doing with patients. The voices of the patient, family and caregiver are essential to ensure the patient is central to the direction and focus of the work being done.
