There is a huge human and financial cost to delirium, which is defined as a fluctuating state of confusion and agitation experienced by up to 80% of critical care patients. An emerging healthcare sector known as Digital Therapeutics could potentially revolutionize how we manage these challenging patients. Our research team has partnered with BC tech company Mindful Garden (MG) Digital Health Inc, to develop a digital therapeutic intervention.

To RSVP for this opportunity, you must sign up to participate in REACH BC.

The question I like to ask health care employees is ‘Who is this for?’ and ‘Do we have the right people at the table?’ As a health care employee, I see how easy it is to fall into doing for, rather than doing with patients. The voices of the patient, family and caregiver are essential to ensure the patient is central to the direction and focus of the work being done.
