The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is offering a webinar that will review the current landscape for patient experience data collection, discuss the importance of qualitative data, and looking at improving data scores.
Within the discussions of patient experience scores, there is talk about patients as unreliable informants, flawed survey instruments, low survey response rates, and institutions being judged unfairly by these scores. This webinar will take up those ideas and look at ways to more effectively collect and use this data while acknowledging biases within these processes.
