Volunteer Orientation Session – Kitmat (in-person)

Welcome to the Patient Voices Network! Everyone must complete an orientation in order to participate in engagement opportunities. The orientation will cover everything you need to know to be a member and answer any questions you may have.

The orientation session will take a place at the Health Fair in Kitmat, at the Haisla Recreation Centre in the Haisla Reserve.

Patient and family partners should not be a check box on research proposals! They need to be involved right from the start. I know patient and family partners are doing their part by providing their knowledge to researchers from their lived experience.  It’s a win-win for us to work together through PVN to make sure our input drives improvements.
