PVN Networking Coffee – Greater Victoria

  • This event has passed.

March 9, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

You’re invited to an evening “coffee chat” – an informal networking event to exchange experiences and connect with our Engagement Leader Leah Smith and Allison McLeod, from Island Health’s Patient Experience team.

You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to this event. We’ll have materials on hand regarding the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council’s new campaign: “What Matters To You?” Day. This campaign aims to encourage meaningful conversations between patients, caregivers, and families, and their health care providers. You’ll be hearing more from us about this over the coming months. We’ll also have copies of PVN’s (soon to be released) Annual Report.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by March 6 to Leah Smith at lsmith@bcpsqc.ca

The bottom line is because we’re caring for patients. People who know best are those who are receiving the care so it makes logical sense that we would consult with them about their experiences. By connecting with PVN we have been able to educate our teams about the value of patient partners and how important their perspective is in our services.
