International Overdose Day with Free Naloxone Training

Drop by our table in front of Save On Foods and learn more about how to recognize the signs of an overdose, receive free naloxone training and leave with a free naloxone kit.

We also encourage members of the community with lived experience to come to our event and to stand in solidarity with the men and women who have been personally affected by overdose.

The bottom line is because we’re caring for patients. People who know best are those who are receiving the care so it makes logical sense that we would consult with them about their experiences. By connecting with PVN we have been able to educate our teams about the value of patient partners and how important their perspective is in our services.
