This workshop is part of the Patient and Community Voices (PCV) workshop series, hosted by the Patient and Community Partnership for Education (PCPE) in the Office of UBC Health. This session is hosted in partnership with Megaphone Speakers Bureau.

The PCV workshop series consists of inter-professional workshops in which students learn directly from patients and community members through their stories and expertise. Workshops are developed, evaluated and refined by students, patients/community members and UBC faculty working together in a participatory educational design.

PVN has really helped us engage with patient partners to improve health services at Northern Health.  It is more and more becoming the norm to include patients in the design, delivery and evaluation of health services.  PVN education and supports, involving patient partners, have enabled us to develop the capacity to include the patient voice to make care better and achieve better health outcomes.
