Strategies to manage arthritis while in the workplace

Arthritis can pose significant challenges to working life due to pain and fatigue. But most people with arthritis want to work. At this Arthritis Talks symposium you will learn:

  • Your rights, accommodations employers must make and employment laws
  • The dos and don’ts of medical cannabis while working
  • Work/life balance and the pressures of juggling multiple demands when you have arthritis

A team of experts will answer your questions about arthritis during the symposium via the webinar (and your computer).

The Arthritis Talks speaker series connects you to experts sharing the latest evidence-based information on arthritis and self-management. Whether you attend in person or via our live webinar, you’ll come away armed with great information to help you say: “Arthritis won’t stop me.”

In addition to the live webinar, there are in-person events in Victoria, Kamloops and Cranbrook.

I was thrilled to discover the Patient Voices Network, where the array of places to be the voice of a patient is vast and incredibly interesting. Besides my ongoing “gig” with the BC Emergency Medicine Network, I have enjoyed being involved in several one-off initiatives. I love working with professionals who genuinely value the perspectives of their patient partners.
