Get to know more about Teresa:
Why is better health care important to you?
“Improving health care is important to me because I want to ensure that when my loved ones need help, they can access the right care, at the right time, and feel respected and heard while receiving it.”
How would you describe what happens when patients collaborate with health care partners?
“When patients and health care partners collaborate, I think it creates a more holistic picture of the overall situation and can lead to more meaningful interventions and outcomes for patients, family members, and health care professionals.”
What do you enjoy most about connecting patient partners and care providers?
“The thing I love most about connecting people, no matter who they are, is watching people connect on a deeper, more meaningful level where assumptions and barriers can be broken, and outcomes can result in things never before thought possible!”
One random fact about you?
“A random fact about me was I used to have a red and black motorcycle named Raphael – after the red ninja turtle!”
