The aim of this opportunity is to include the patient voice to help create a positive, healthy and healing environment for patients and for participants to hear a first-hand story of the experience of having an infection to allow them to be reminded of the stress this puts on the patient.

Location, Date, Time and Frequency: Friday, September 28th for approximately one hour. Time TBD. In-person in Kelowna
Expenses need to be discussed with the health care partner, it is unclear at this time if there will be any costs associated with this opportunity.
IPAC BC Education Day occurs every year, but this is the first time in many years that they have brought it to Kelowna. Interior Health’s Infection Control Department will be the most involved with conference participants from all over BC. 70-80 participants are expected, including Interior Health staff from all departments.
