Interior Health has been interested in reviewing their Home Health centralized intake process for some time and this is a good opportunity to do a ‘deep dive’ into this work. They are using the Lean methodology to do so, which looks at practices through a quality improvement lens, and allows people who do the work to identify waste and non-value-added activities from the patient perspective. Home Health services cover community wound care, case management, community rehab (occupational and physiotherapy), social work, respiratory therapy, dietitians, and speech language pathology.Health Care Partner Contact Information
