The new Surrey Hospital & Cancer Centre is part of Fraser Health’s commitment across the region to modernize our health care network, build capacity and improve timely access to quality, patient-centred care closer to home.

Surrey’s new hospital will include inpatient beds, an emergency department, operating rooms, laboratory and diagnostic services, outpatient services and cancer services. The business-planning phase of the project will now begin, which will finalize the project-scope and budget of the new hospital. After the approval of the business plan phase, the project will move on to procurement and then construction.

The new site will complement the care provided by Surrey Memorial Hospital and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre, which together will offer quality patient care for a range of needs.
