The committee has accountability and responsibility for continuous improvement efforts of maternal, infant, child & youth health care services across Fraser Health.
Patient advisors will be equal partners at the table, providing their lived experience as innovative efforts are discussed and implemented to improve the quality of services provided in this portfolio.

This opportunity is at the level of
collaborate on the spectrum of engagement. The promise to you is that the health care partner will work together with you to formulate solutions and incorporate your advice and recommendations into the decisions to the maximum extent possible. Eligibility
Patient advisors from Fraser Health Communities who are:
a patient, or family member in one of the program units (Perinatal, Neonatal, Pediatrics) – ideally within the last two years
positive and solution-focused
comfortable working with senior leaders and as part of a team that regularly reviews delicate, confidential subject matter

Date/time: Second Tuesday of the month, 6 times a year, starting April 2019, 9:30-11:30am
Location: Central City, Surrey
Commitment: One-year term (with an option for renewal up to two years) Reimbursement
Preapproved expenses related to travel to in person meetings will be reimbursed according to the Fraser Health Travel policy (including mileage each way, parking and public transit)
Maternal Infant Child and Youth (MICY) Program Quality Management Committee is a standing committee to discuss quality and service deliver, advance patient and family centred care, improve the patient experience, and strengthen program operations. This committee offers recommendations and oversight with accountability and responsibility of select key performance indicators.
