Background

Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction (BCMHA) is a provincial tertiary care facility for adults with severe and concurrent mental health and substance use disorders. People with concurrent disorders in BC are highly underserved, often living with other challenges that further complicate their concurrent disorders and make recovery challenging. BCMHA is the only integrated program of its kind in BC.

In 2021, BCMHA will be transferring service to the Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health and Addiction on the Riverview Lands in Coquitlam, BC.
