Researchers at Interior Health and patient partners are co-leading a patient-oriented research study to learn more about Interior Health patient (public, community) engagement arrangements and the personal experiences of patients, caregivers, community members, staff, policy makers, decision makers, and researchers in patient engagement activity across the Interior Health system.

Interviews will take place via telephone call or in-person with a member of the research team. These interviews will be approximately 60 minutes in duration and the date and time will be determined based on the availability of the study participant. A summary of the study results will be provided to all participants.

Eligibility:

  • Over 18 years old
  • Actively involved in patient engagement activities in the past 5 years at Interior Health
  • Live in the interior of BC

If you or someone you know are interested in sharing your experience to help us improve our understanding of authentic engagement and the patient partner experience in research, quality improvement- and health system evaluation initiatives in across the Interior Health system, we’d love to hear from you!

If interested, please contact Karin Maiwald at research@interiorhealth.ca or at 250-505-7458.
